CROPREDY HISTORICAL SOCIETY
 
 

will be visiting COGGES MANOR FARM MUSEUM on Tuesday 20th May 2008. Admission: Adults £6; Concessions £5 ; Children £2.50. The museum is open from 10.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Please will those who can offer transport and those who require transport meet at Cropredy Village Green at 12.00 noon. All welcome. CROPREDY HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
South Newington
 
A visit has been arranged to the garden of South Newington House at 2.30pm. The garden is described in the 'Yellow Book' as: 'A charming garden with tumbling rambling roses, softly coloured herbaceous borders, ponds, organic fruit and vegetables'. There is also a walled garden with parterre and box topiary. Mrs Ainley, the owner will give to those who wish, a guided tour of the garden, but there are many seats around the garden so that anyone who wishes to wander at their own pace, is welcome to so do. "WARDINGTON JAZZ & SWING"
Wardington Church
 
The Friends of St. Mary Magdalene Church, Wardington, Banbury invite you to join them for an informal evening of Jazz, Swing & Big Band Music in the delightful setting of the 13th Century Church in Wardington. Featuring the BMS BIG BAND. Brackley Music School Big Band is in its 11th year and is comprised of over 30 talented musicians recognised for their highly successful live performances at local music festivals & jazz gigs. Tickets need to be purchased in advance: £8.00 for adults, £15.00 family of 4, £5.00 for children and Seniors - Includes hot dogs and soft drinks. Cash bar available throughout the performance.
