The Cropredy Film Society was inaugurated in Spring 2007 and currently has a membership of over 150.

New members are always welcome and you do not need to live in the village to join.

Membership is required so that the Society can operate under the appropriate licensing agreements.

The village website www.cropredyvillage.info has details of the Society, its rules and the programmes.

Screenings are held in Cropredy Village Hall. The price of a ticket voucher covers the film and supper.

We have two film seasons per year, Spring and Autumn, and occasionally other screenings.

In order to comply with the regulations of the British Federation of Film Societies the following rules will apply:

1. People coming to the films must be members

2. Showings will be in the village hall or other licensed premises

3. Vouchers for each showing must be pre-booked and pre-paid. No vouchers can be reserved or money taken on the door.

4. Members may bring guests (max 2 per member) but they must be signed in.

Life Membership costs £10. with a concessionary subscription for Over-60s of £8.

Evening screenings, include Supper and tickets, for Members cost £8. per person. Members may bring a maximum of 2 guests, paying £10. per guest ticket.

Information and programmes will be sent to members by e-mail, will be published in the Cropredy Crier and a poster and leaflets will be available at The Perfect Present and in the Village Hall. Should you wish to receive postal communications please supply the Secretary with stamped self-addressed envelopes.

All seats must be booked and paid for in advance. There will be no opportunity to pay or book on the night for that evening’s film. To receive your tickets in advance, please supply a stamped addressed envelope with your payment. Tickets can be booked at The Perfect Present (next door to The Bridge Store).

Election of Officers and committee will take place annually.
