Cropredy Cluster Care
New Chair required
As I am preparing to move out of the area, Cropredy Cluster Care Group is looking for someone to take on the post of Chair of the Management Committee. Once a week Cluster provides social contact, activities and a hot meal for 12 elderly members, drawn from Cropredy and surrounding villages. The day to day running of the group is carried out by a paid organiser and assistant aided by a team of volunteers. The role of the chair is to support the organiser and provide leadership for the Management Committee, who oversee the work and meet 6 times a year. It is not a particularly onerous role and there is no requirement to be at the meeting every week. But it is a very fulfilling role as the work of Cluster is very important, providing a lifeline to our members who might otherwise be isolated in the community.
If you want to make a contribution to community life then this may be a way for you to be involved. If you are interested you can find out more by giving me a call or emailing me.
