Cherwell Local Plan 2040Public Consultation from 22nd September to 3rd November

Cherwell’s public consultation is now open on the latest draft of the Local Plan. The Plan sets out policies to guide development across Cherwell up to 2040. The most important section relating to Cropredy is Chapter 8 Rural Areas Strategy.  The PC will be responding and residents are also encouraged to respond individually.  A copy of Cherwell’s publicity notice has been placed on the Village Website. Responses are due no later than 11.59 on Friday 3rd November 2023.  The draft Local Plan will be discussed at the Parish Council meeting on Monday 9th October at 7pm in the Chapel school room.

CHERWELL DISTRICT COUNCIL PLANNING POLICY CONSULTATION 22 SEPTEMBER 2023 TO 3 NOVEMBER 2023 Cherwell Local Plan Review 2040 – Regulation 18 Consultation Draft We are preparing a new Local Plan for Cherwell and would like your views. We are presenting a draft of the Plan for consultation so that you can consider our emerging proposals. It has been prepared to prompt discussion and feedback on new planning policies to guide the delivery of sustainable development across the district. The draft Plan sets out a vision and proposes homes, employment land, infrastructure and other essential services required to support the local community over the Plan period. Comments should be received no later than 11.59pm on Friday 3 November 2023. Any comments received will be made publicly available.
