Result Opinion Survey for proposed development

Cropredy Parish Council

Result of Opinion Survey on the Proposed Development North of the Village between Kyetts Corner and the Marina.

The count of responses has been completed.  Responses were received from 250 parishioners. This amounts to an estimated 42% of the adult (18 years old and over) population of Cropredy.

Of those residents who responded:

15% were in support.

85% were opposed.

Therefore, the Chairman of Cropredy Parish Council will attend the Cherwell Planning Committee meeting on the 7th of September and will report that the PC opposes the outline planning application for residential development, referring to the reasons as set out by the PC in the opinion poll leaflet and planning portal, including concerns raised by parishioners.

As the Planning application to the south of the village by the school was withdrawn during the opinion survey, the results are unlikely to be a true representation and so have not been counted.
